Chantelle Needs a Family!

Chantelle is a smiley, bright and kind 5-year-old. She enjoys drawing, but she also loves to dance, sing and listen to music! She is one of the children waiting for her permanent, loving family through adoption.

A Special Blessings grant is available to help the right family bring Chantelle home!

Chantelle came into care when she was a little over 1 year old and was diagnosed with Down syndrome. She has other developmental delays, but she’s a healthy little girl overall.

Her speech and articulation are improving, allowing her to speak in 4 or 5-word sentences. She can also do certain tasks independently, like eating, drinking and taking care of herself. When given instructions, Chantelle will follow them with ease.

And if you ask Chantelle, she’ll say that she loves to go to school! She’s studying in a kindergarten class, and she enjoys going there to learn and play with her friends every day.

The best fit for Chantelle is a permanent, loving family with knowledge about Down syndrome. They should also be ready for a lot of smiling, dancing and singing!
