Caregivers describe Seth as easy-going, cooperative, and generally a happy boy. Holt staff visited Seth in person and enjoyed spending time with this kind and sweet boy. He sat with us and completed tasks cheerfully. He seemed to enjoy drawing and completing dot to dot illustrations. He had some difficulty completing certain tasks, like a 28-piece puzzle, but continued to persevere until he finished it.
Caregivers say Seth is slower to learn compared to his peers. He is said to focus on his work most of the time, and when something is hard, he asks for help. He enjoys playing soccer and playing toy cars with his friends. He is said to play well with other children.
An ideal adoptive family of Seth’s needs access to great speech, physical, occupational, and educational resources to help Seth reach his potential. Additionally, his family should understand older child adoption and its potential impacts on transitioning to family life in the United States. Holt staff have met Seth in person and would love to discuss their experience with any prospective adoptive family.
Seth was featured in October's Thailand Lunch and Learn series where Holt staff talk about their time with him – including their in-person assessment and standout moments with Seth! If you are interested in learning more about him, click the button below!
