Thailand Family Tours

Our next tour will be held July 4-12, 2011.

Holt Family Tours provide adoptees a unique experience of traveling back to their birth country with others "who are just like me". Tour participants on the Thai Tour will:

• Experience Thai culture, customs and history while exploring the diverse landscape.
• Learn about Holt Sahathai Foundation and their many programs benefiting children.
• Visit childcare facilities and meet with foster families and childcare workers.
• See historic sites in Bangkok, such as the Grand Palace and the Rose Garden, and take a canal tour.
• Travel to the southern province of Nakhon Si Thammarat; Visit Wat Phra Maha That (a provincial royal Buddhist temple) local villages, markets etc.
• Learn about Holt Sahathai Foundation's community based child and family welfare programs by visiting the rural village of Baan Praeg Klang.
• Learn new skills such as Thai cooking and the tie-dye batik technique.
• Optional extension to Phuket or Koh Samui.
