Holt Family Tours provide adoptees a unique experience of traveling back to their birth country with others “who are just like me”. Tour participants on the Thai Tour will:

• Experience the Thai culture, customs and history while exploring the diverse landscape
• Learn about Holt Sahathai Foundation and their many programs benefiting children
• Visit childcare facilities and meet with foster families / childcare workers
• In Bangkok, visit the Grand Palace and other historic sights as well as the Adoption Center
• Traveling NE through Buriram; Visit local villages and sites along the way while enjoying the region’s natural beauty
• In Ubon Ratchathani in NE Thailand, experience Buddhist Candle Festival, and candle carving tradition
• Optional trips North to Chiang Mai, East to Cambodia or South to the beach at conclusion of tour (Locations to be determined, subject to change based on interest)

Dates for 2008 Family Tour (open to adoptees and their families): Tentative tour dates planned for July 9th - July 17th, 2008
Cost for 2008 Family Tour: $600-1000 per person (estimate) for land package only. Families arrange and pay for their own international airfare to and from Bangkok.
