This afternoon the House passed by a 237 to 174 vote a comprehensive tax package that included adoption tax credit legislation.

This comprehensive tax package still has to pass the Senate and President Clinton has indicated he will veto the tax bill as it is currently presented (this has nothing to do with the adoption tax credit legislation).

The process is currently very fluid and changing rapidly as the session comes to an end. Holt Info Updates will be sent as legislative action takes place, and details will be posted on Holt's website.
