Senate Action on Hope for Children Act URGENT ACTION REQUIRED! Contact your Senator TODAY! To ensure that the tax credit continues to move forward, and that the special needs provision remains, please urge your senators to vote in support of the Hope For Children Act Landrieu-Craig Amendment. Yesterday the U.S. Senate continued debate of the tax reconciliation bill. The first votes on amendments that were debated last week began at 6 p.m. EST and continued late into the night. The Senate is back in session today voting on the tax reconciliation bill. At this time, the Hope for Children Act Landrieu-Craig Amendment is still intact as part of the Managers Amendment.
