| As the public face of one of the oldest and most highly regarded international adoption agencies in America, Hi Families strives to create a sense of "family" around Holt’s mission of giving every child a home through family preservation, in-country adoption, and international adoption.
Connecting readers with the needs of homeless children and the issues surrounding adoption and family preservation form the core of Hi Families’ content. Hi Families’ primary audiences are: adoptive families, donors, and adult adoptees. Ideally Hi Families builds and helps maintain a nearly life-long relationship with families as they progress from prospective adoptive parents to parents in the adoption process to parents of grown adoptive children. Hi Families also speaks to adoptees as they mature and desire to know about their birth cultures and families.
Hi Families magazine is published bimonthly by Holt International. We ask for an annual donation of $20 to cover the cost of publication and mailing. While Holt International is responsible for the content of Hi Families, the viewpoints expressed in this publication are not necessarily those of Holt International.
