A Year Ago Today
Pray for the Children and Families in Haiti
January 12th marks the one-year anniversary of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated Haiti and killed an estimated 230,000 people. On this day, we remember those who lost their lives, the thousands of children now orphaned and the millions of people left homeless and still struggling to survive.
Please, join us in prayer for the people of Haiti, today. Pray that God's healing hand will be on the sick, hungry and helpless children and families, and that He would continue to bring the people of this devastated country peace, courage and strength in a time of continual suffering.

"But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish."--Psalm 9:18 |
In the past year, Holt helped hundreds of distressed families get back on their feet as the dangers of hurricanes and cholera outbreaks threatened family's valiant efforts to restore their lives.
By the grace of God, many families are slowly turning their circumstances around and today, Holt International humbly asks for your ongoing prayers, as well. That God will continue to guide us in our efforts to help these children and families where we can. Holt give thanks for the support that you so generously provided in 2010.
We still have a lot of work to do in Haiti, but with your ongoing assistance and prayers, we will continue to make a difference for the Haitian people as they bravely carry on with the monumental task of rebuilding their city, and rebuilding their lives.
Please keep the children and families of Haiti in your hearts and in your prayers, especially today.
