The Gathering is being sponsored by four organizations; the Korea Society, also-known-as, inc., Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, and Holt International Children's Services.

The Korea Society is the leading private, non-partisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to the promotion of greater awareness, understanding and cooperation between the people of the United States and Korea.

also-known-as, inc. is a non-profit organization of international adult adoptees. The organization is dedicated to sharing and celebrating the experiences of intercountry and interracial adoptions and establishing a national community of transcultural people: individuals whose lives bridge nations, cultures and races.

The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute is an organization whose goals are to identify the best information on adoption that is available, analyze and synthesize that information, and make it readily accessible to the adoption community. The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute is committed to providing reliable, quality information that can inform policy and practice development and can elevate the debate on the more controversial issues in adoption to a fully informed level.

Holt International Children's Services, headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, is recognized as the leader in the field of international adoption and permanency planning for children. Holt pioneered the concept of intercountry adoption in the 1950’s in response to the needs of orphaned children in Korea.
