My sweet boy turned 8 today. As I went to bed last night I couldn't help but wonder how his birthmother was doing. Yes, it has been 8 yrs ago that Scott was born. 7yrs 10mo when we got a referral, and 7 1/2yrs since we became a forever family. Our lives change daily. I wonder how her life has changed. I will forever be grateful to her for the love she has given us.
So, how did we celebrate? Well... he took cupcakes to school, we went to Mimi & Papa's for supper then came home. He is getting his wish to have a party at ChuckECheese but not until NEXT weekend. So, more birthday fun to come.
I thank God everyday for the blessings He has given us. May Scott have a wonderful year and be very blessed!
