Noah: he is all about Brian now, like Linda, I am the disciplinarian

Kali: ME but she will go to daddy sometimes

Quinn: both, my mom, etc., he just loves everyone.

Linda, I know what you mean, but I really hope at the end of the day they get it :(

I am a sahm and my dh works alot. All 3 of my kids started preferring their dad for fun when they were toddlers. However, when they are sick or such they still want me. I think it is a function of our lifestyle. I think it is healthy. It is get to me at times. Emma is a stage right now where she is really a daddy's girl. Sometimes she will tell him she is not going to talk to me today. Then 5 minutes later she wants to read a book with me.

Camden has been a daddy's boy since he was about 1.5 - daddy is all about playing while I'm the "mean" parent. LOL

Now Rory is another story - she is definitely a mommy's girl to the point where it can hurt Brian's feelings at times.

Kaden has preferred DH since day one. He was only 3 1/2 months old, but took to Ryan immediately and took much longer to warm up to me.

He still wants Daddy if he's hurt, wants Daddy to put him to bed, and even though I made up a song called, "Mommy Loves You" that I've sung to him since he was a baby, I am now only allowed to sing it as "Daddy Loves You."

I'm really hoping Cindy will be a Mommy's girl!

Currently, DS is a Daddy's boy except for when he's tired, hurt or sick --- luckily, DS is sweet enough to tell me "I love you Mom, but I need Dad" on all the other times.

Christian: Has always been a big time mommy's boy. Loves dh but will always prefer me.

Ryan: Has phases but is the most of a daddy's boy out of my kids.

Jason: Right now is going through a very tough mommy phase. Will cry when anyone, including dh, takes him from me.

My DD preferred DH after the first two months. Now that he is deployed, I'm sure it's changed.

My DS always has preferred me. He actually had difficulty bonding with DH, so it was nice when our DD took so quickly to Daddy.
