Your husband and family have been in our prayers and will continue to be! You've been through so much. I'm so sorry you have another health battle to fight. Hi,
It's been a while since I've been to the boards, so I've been out of the loop. Looks like we've had similar difficulties, although by husband's DVT's did not travel to his heart or lungs. The only problem for us was a misdiagnosis from ER in the first place. They sent him home after 4 days observation with pain meds for his back. It was, in fact, a colon rupture and blood clots up and down both legs. He stayed about 3 weeks in the hospital in September and almost died from toxic shock. He, too, will be on Coumadin for the rest of his life. He is better, but will not ever be 100%. We count our blessings, though, and are about to go on vacation and celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. We will pray for your family, and will pray for your husband's continued and complete recovery.

Thanks again everyone for your prayers. Your prayers are so very appreciated. My husband is back at work, but he tires easily. I am so thankful that he is home, and doing a little better.

Happy Anniversary!! I am full of joy that you will celebrate another special day together! Have a wonderful vacation! Even though our husbands will require medicine for the rest of their life, we are so blessed. All this stuff we have been through reminds us that we should cherish every moment together. You are right that we should always count our blessings. Thank you for your prayers, and I will keep you all in mine.
