what does it mean when....

Hi all,
What does it mean when a waiting child has "this file will not be sent to additional families" on a childs picture? Does it mean she has a family (I hope!!!) or that she was pulled from this list? There's one little one I have been watching and praying for and I am just hoping she's found her family.

HI! I'm not 100% sure but I think that means there are already a few families interested in that child and they will have a committe to decide who is the best fit.. but someone correct me if I'm wrong..

This means that multiple families have requested to view the file. If one or multiple families decide to proceed, then they will go to committee and the committee will choose the family they think is best for the child. The child's status will then change to "I have a Family". If none of the families decide to proceed with the file or the committee does not approve a family, then the status is removed and the child is then available for families to request the file for review....

It means that a family has informed Holt that they want to proceed to committee. All other families reviewing the file then have 2 weeks to decide if they too want to proceed to committee, then a committee date is set and one of the families (it's rare that no family is chosen) is matched with the child. Then you'll see I have a Family on the photo.

Oh, I hope so. Her picture just went away. It never said, "I have a family." I wish I knew....my heart would break if she went to another WC list somewhere. She is so precious.

Ah, she could have been removed for medical reasons then. We had our heart set on one little boy who was removed because he started having severe seizures and he was moved to Holt's village/medical facilities, probably not to be adopted
