New Family - Korea Program

Postby NERagsdale » Tue Nov 03, 2009 10:47 pm

Hello,

We are new to the forum.

Our family has two bio boys 9 & 3; we have been married 10 years and have just begun the journey to our sweet Annalee in Korea! We are located in Western KY near Ft. Campbell.

Holt is our placing agency and just submitted all our documents to our agency that will conduct the home study visits. So relieved to be done with this part of the paperwork, surprised at how smooth the process has been so far.

Look forward to getting to know everyone here! :)

Hellow and Welcome!

I'd encourage you to introduce yourself on the Korea forum: http://www.holtintl.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=1 There are a lot of great families on that board who are a great support and encouragement :) There's a resource thread near the top of the Korea board that has a ton of helpful information on it: http://www.holtintl.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34465

Hi there - it sounds like we are in the same spot, I am new to this forum and we just completed our homestudy but still waiting for our social worker to complete it and send it to Korea. We have been married for 13 years and have two bio boys, 7 and 4. We are requesting a girl and we are so excited. I get nervous whenever I hear about Korea closing their program and things slowing down...please let me know how things are going with you! We live in Michigan and our agency in Korea is SWS.
