HEY GUYS!!!!

Hey everyone! Haven't been on here in years. There's so many new people We're all doing well. The "triplets" are now 7. Almost 8. Mei-Lin (china) is in second grade. Isaiah and Anvita (India) go to a school for the deaf where their class size is 5 and much more personalized. Anvita is speaking sentences with the cochlear implants and Isaiah speaks and hears fine with the hearing aids. Remember their sizes we're all the same at 3 yrs old? Now Anvita is huge (little fluffy) and Isaiah tiny (still 28 lbs) and Mei 35 lbs. Anvita is a full head taller than the other two. Life is so chaoic and did I say two of my teenagers are juniors so we're madly looking at colleges. AHHHHHHH!!!! I'm getting old Anyways, wanted to send a shout out to the "gang".. Wondering how sandwich, angie, leslie, and the old gang are doing. Hopefully it won't be another 2 years til i post. Michell

Hi Michell!! So great to hear from you!! Has it really been two years? Oh my goodness..

Well, my husband and I are adopting again. Baby #4! And Sandwich and I are leaving to bring him home in 13 days! She traveled with me for the court trip (Pune now requires two trips) and we had so much fun. Who would've thought that the Holt msg boards would bring us together 5 years ago?! This will be our third trip to India together. (We took a trip to AP two years ago).

Are you on FB? A lot of us Holt moms from a few years ago keep up that way. If you're on FB, PM me your name and I'll find ya!

And Angie, Jane, Sandwich, and I are planning a Girls Gone Wild India tour in two-three years. More like Moms Turned Middle Aged Tour, but it'll still be a blast. You in??

Hi, Michell!

I was just thinking about you the other day! So great to hear an update on the triplets! Post a picture, why don't you! And if you're on FB, tell me how to find you. Or just find Leslie and then you'll find me!

Kids. They keep growing! My girls are 16, 13 and 11. The boys are 9 and turned-7-this-week. Malachi loves to dance and sing and has the attention span of a butterfly (or a 9 yr old boy--I guess they're the same) and Martand is just Martand!

So did you drop by to tell us you're adopting again?????? Out of all of us, Leslie is the only one who managed it.

Angie is great. She doesn't post here anymore but is active on FB. She actually just posted this morning that her dh is in the hospital with kidney/gall stones and complications, but is expected to be fine after a couple of days. The girls are amazing and doing well. Malachi and Vala are unofficially engaged and planning to marry someday. We see them every year at Camp Masala. Which, btw, is coming up in June. You should come one year!

Oh my goodness! Great to hear from the "old crew" Remember the days we were on this non-stop? We were all like family. Miss all the stories. And no I'm not on facebook (kinda not a huge fan ) though do miss seeing all the little ones grow up. The kids are amazing ....will even be more amazing thurs when school restarts. Its been a looooong summer. I have gone back to college (just finished week1). I'll be finishing my BA in social work (human services) this year and work on masters next year in adoption. LOVE IT! I dropped everything and just decided to go back (at 40 yrs old)....I'm actually working on a 20 page research paper on Bertha Holt for my Intro. to Human Services course. College is so much more fun when you've experienced so much in the human service field. I can't believe how many of the old crew are adopting again. I honestly go on this forum once a year so I don't know anything about the new changes I've seen written. That rots. And sandwich.....you know I suck at posting pics but I'll try next time Miss you all. Michell and the 6 munchkins
