May 5th Children's Day ... Anyone Wanta Pray?

This board is for families currently in the process of adopting from Korea and those who have recently completed adoptions from Korea. Holt International currently allows board members who are using other agencies to use this board as well.

May 5th Children's Day ... Anyone Wanta Pray?

I was checking in for responses to the thread on how people celebrate Korea's Children's Day. Neekah's response made me want to cry ... for her and for all of you waiting. Whether it's referrals or EP submissions or TCs, ugh. For someone like me, I just feel helpless. My children are already home and have been for a while. But seeing Neekah's post brought back a flood of emotion from what we went through during each adoption.

Anyone else want to commit to saying a little prayer (at least once :-)) on May 5th Children's Day for all the children waiting? And for these forum members who are going through this? Just a thought and won't make me feel like there's nothing I can do.

I will join you in prayers :D :D :D It's so tough seein them growing up on pictures ... but at least we can be sure that they are being given the best care and lots of love! I am very grateful for that!

Yes! We will join you in praying for all of our children who are waiting to come home, the families at home, and foster families caring for our children.
