Specific learning disabilities associated with VCFS

My daughter was on the waiting child photolisting for r/o cerebral palsy and ASD(atrial septal defect) that was repaired when she was 6 months old in Korea. She also had a subedemyl cyst. Toward the end of our wait we also got a diagnosis of 'thinning corpus collosum'. I also went to committee for her with 5 other families. I would be willing to talk about any of these things.

Will talk about congenital dislocation of the hip and about hypocalcemic seizure.

I wouldn't mind talking about

Birth family history of mental retardation
infant head lag
"poor" nutrition
developmental delays

and a sibling call - although it is not a "special need" but often a "financial need"
(we did fundraise and received grants for sibling adoption)

gross motor, fine motor, and speech delays

I'm willing to talk about our issues. Our daughter was premature and completely shut off upon bringing her home. We went through months without much smiling and she didn't laugh for a long time. It was emotionally very challenging but she's been home over 4 years now so I'd love to help someone else.
