Why consider an internship with Holt?
Holt is the leading adoption and child welfare agency currently working in 14 countries. Internships are excellent opportunities for individuals considering a career in social work, child welfare, and non-profit administration to gain professional experience. They can provide an excellent opportunity to apply your education and experience to projects that contribute to Holt's effort to find families for children. Internships are administrative in nature and do not involve hands-on work with children in orphanages.
How does the program work?
Holt has a limited number of unpaid internships each year. For international internships, applicants must apply through the IE3 Global Internships program. For internships at Holt headquarters, opportunities will be posted on our website as they become available.
What costs does the intern cover?
All internships are unpaid, though some international internships include a small living stipend which will be identified in the position description. Interns are expected to pay for all of their own expenses, including but not limited to: accommodation, transportation, meals, insurance, etc.
How do I apply for an international internship?
